A Paradoxical Perception

Periwinkle plants
Poke through the pretty pleasing petals
Playing peek-a-boo
Beyond the pondering peaceful pond

Soon six silly squirrels
Swiftly scamper through the shady trees
While whispering winds
Respond to the laughing leaves of bronze

A paradoxical perception
Where dark and light dance daily
Playing peek-a-boo
Playing peek-a-boo
With life poetically

Whirling surging squalls
Where wise wizards weave wondrous webs
Of thin thunder threads
Whilst Whistling reeds revel in the rain

Dark dreams seem to scheme
Swift winds whisper wishes wildly
To racing whirlwinds
Revealing where the wild roses reign

A paradoxical perception
Where dark and light dance daily
Playing peek-a-boo
Playing peek-a-boo
With life poetically

Waiting on the shore
Spied the seven swift ships sailing
With weathered warriors
Wielding their weapons willing to die

Wiley rabbits race
Rapid round the ruby roses
Bravely betraying
Boldly brilliant bright blue butterflies

Mercenary men
Poke through the pretty pleasing petals
Playing peek-a-boo
Beyond the pondering peaceful glen

A paradoxical perception
Where dark and light dance daily
Playing peek-a-boo
Playing peek-a-boo
With life poetically

Playing peek-a-boo
With life
