A Time to Ponder

It's flowing slowly at the start
One breath to clear your head
Wide your eyes
And be prepared
For where this day will head

A time to ponder at the end
A sigh and nod of head
I'll close my eyes
And wander back
From where this day has led

It gains momentum naturally
Days blend into night
Experiences flow
And learning grows
You try to do what's right

It flowed so gently at the start
But it quickly goes
Days go fast
And life prevails
You learn what you must know

A time to ponder at the end
A sigh and nod of head
I'll close my eyes
And wander back
From where this day has led

The days go fast and time rolls by
Like on a speeding track
Your memories fade
And still you know
Your karma caught the hack
And blessings seem like happenstance
You desperately want back

You desperately want back

A time to ponder at the end
A sigh and nod of head
I'll close my eyes
And wander back
From where this life has led

From where this life has led

This life has led
