Escaping Gravity

Life is just trying on new forms to escape gravity
Life is just applying new ways to bypass reality
We're changing our forms
We're twisting the norms
But gravity's sticky
A magnetic icky
A nuclear tricky
They're transient storms

Are our eyes just our windows?
Watching life within those?
A reflection of dreams?
Our creations it seems
As our essence does flows
So our knowledge it grows
Its the light we do know
It's our light that it grows

Shadows come from the light
We all know this is right
If Imbalance persists
Then nothing exists
When the edges aren't there
Even though it's unfair
All light
All dark
Nothing there
Not a spark
Anywhere
Anywhere

(Spoken)
Can't have light without shadows
The shadows create edges
Which allow us to perceive reality
An outline of all that exists

(Sung)
Cannot have reality
When there are no boundaries
Built up over centuries
Memories and phantasies
Dreaming up our victories
Layers of our histories
Absolute duality

We birthed from a star
It's not very far
We're made up of light
And partly of night
The light is our glow
The dark edges show
Who we really are
A young growing star
It's just what we are

(spoken)
Our reality is a spin of existence
Where boundaries blend with psychic assistance

(Sung)
Your awareness transforms
Higher vibes it conforms
A magnetic storm
Changing your forms
Transient norms
Forever performs
It's a Doppler shift
It's an upward drift
You're no longer here
Although very near
You're evolving I fear
Surviving on tears
Transforming through years

Life is just muddling new forms to gain mortality
Life is just puzzling new ways to raise mentality
We came from the sun
We know we are young
But caught in the traction
We desire action
A creative passion
A dreamy singsong
Just escaping gravity
Enhancing reality
As we dance along
As we dance along
